Small Animal Boarding
Welcome to small animal luxury !
At Deepdale Pets we want your rabbits and guinea pigs to be as happy as possible and therefore we offer boarding in luxury sized hutches and runs.
Though primarily rabbits and guinea pigs we can now take your other small pets- hamsters, gerbils, mice, tortoise and some birds.
Friends and neighbours, although perhaps more convenient for you, may not have the experience or time to care for you pet properly whilst you are away on holiday. Other people may have to work away from home for a while, be moving house or have other commitments that takes up their time. Whatever the reason we can help and it is one less thing to worry about.
We offer friendly, caring and safe boarding in luxury sized hutches and runs letting them enjoy their holiday whilst you take yours. Whilst your pet is boarding with us we treat them as our own making sure that they are happy and contented.
We ask that you bring your pets usual dry food, as it’s best for their little tummies that they stay on their usual brand. We then will provide the extras that your pet requires to stay healthy and happy. You can of course, bring along any favourite toys and treats. Please let us know if too much grass upsets your pet’s tummy!
We will provide, daily:
- Fresh hay
- Fresh veg and fruit twice daily (unless otherwise directed)
- Fresh water in hutches and runs
- Time outside in runs, weather permitting
- Toys, tubes, balls, boxes etc.. to climb into and onto to prevent boredom
- Grooming if required
- Lots of attention and cuddles
We keep a close eye on our guests: – handling and checking them over twice daily. Your pet will not mix with any other boarders other than those he /she is brought in with. All hutches and runs are cleaned out daily and cleaned and disinfected between boarders.
We do ask that all rabbits are inoculated against Myxomatosis and VHD. We also ask you to sign a consent form that allows us to take them to the local vet if we consider it necessary. This service is carried out free of charge but you incur the vet costs.
